Direct Primary Care is a model of primary care in which patients pay a flat monthly fee to their practitioner in exchange for primary care services. It is designed with the intention of human-scale and high-value care - your practitioner has the time and availability to provide you with accessible health care of the highest integrity. Your healthcare dollars go farther in this model than the typical fee-for-service model, and patients tend to experience significant cost-savings over the longterm.

Functional Medicine is a medically-accredited holistic framework that seeks to find the root cause of a patient’s concerns, rather than just applying a band-aid fix. Functional Medicine is highly-personalized, taking into account a patient’s history, environment, and genetic predispositions. It utilizes the cutting-edge testing, while also favoring nutritional, supplemental, herbal and mind-body approaches to healing. It is based in the latest and safest evidence, and supports all conventional medical practices.

Upon enrollment, patients receive a welcome email and an invitation to our patient portal, Athena, where they can arrange for an initial appointment.
Initial appointments are offered within the first month of enrollment, and are important first steps to laying the foundation of our partnership together. Initial appointments last at least an hour, and include a deep dive into your prior health history and current concerns.
Subsequent visits are scheduled based on patient needs and clinical indications, and may take place virtually or in person.
In between appointments, patients may message, email, call or text their practitioner directly.
Care is personalized; we coordinate with all local health care organizations and pharmacies, and partner with local integrative practitioners to foster your unique network of care. If you have insurance, it may be applied to your prescriptions, diagnostic work-ups, and specialty care just as any traditional primary care. We are proud to work directly with national laboratories that offer significantly discounted labs at-cost, as well as offer expanded functional testing for individuals who are interested.
